Alison Fellows

Alison has worked for Amazon since 2014, in a mixture of HR and Employee Relations roles in the UK, Europe and Globally.  She joined Amazon after over a decade of experience in HR roles for UK and International blue-chip organisations.  When she joined, Amazon was relatively unknown as an employer and Alison was excited about the chance to shape what was then a much smaller and less mature organisation. The last decade has been one of exponential growth for Amazon with an incredible range of opportunities to contribute and to help steer through the difficult period of the pandemic. 

Alison joined the Welcome Door team in September 2023.  As Amazon Strives to be Earth’s Best Employer, the Welcome Door program was created initially to provide support and in-need benefits to refugees and Humanitarian Based Immigrants in the USA and later in Europe.   In 2024, the team’s scope has expanded – enabling them to work on improving the workplace experience for a broader internal customer group.

Based in Edinburgh, Alison works as part of a global team working to support Amazon’s operations workforce around the world.   Alison is (slowly and painfully) training to run her first marathon for charity – which takes up most of her spare time - and loves to travel.
