Emma Potter

Emma Potter is a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Community Engagement Director, where she manages the firm’s DEI program and community engagement initiatives across EMEA. Prior to joining AB in 2024, Potter worked at financial services firm Ruffer as Workplace Director, where she led the business estate operations and the firm’s DEI program, and as chair of the employee resource group, where she led external DEI engagement, implementing community partnerships and initiatives. Potter was made a partner at Ruffer in 2010. Prior to this, she was appointed a board director for the Victoria Business Improvement District, chairing the Inclusive Economy group funding local community engagement projects. Previously, Potter was an English tutor for The Access Project and a mentor for the Mission Gender Equity program supporting the 30% Club, the world’s largest global cross-company mentoring program. She is a member of AB’s EMEA Leadership Council and a Mental Health First Aider. This year Potter will be a mentor for charities Girls Are Investors (GAIN) and Big City Bright Future.
