Heather Gupta

Heather has a rich background spanning over three decades in marketing, account management, and HR. She holds a degree in English Literature from The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and a postgraduate Advanced Diploma in HR from the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

Heather commenced her career in 1993 as a graduate marketing trainee at Procter & Gamble’s UK Headquarters, before moving into advertising, working as an Account Director for McCann Erickson and JWT in London. In 2000, a year-long solo backpacking trip turned into 22 years of living and working in Bangkok, Mumbai and Goa. She has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious Media and Tech companies including McCann Erickson, J Walter Thompson, Disney UTV, The MullenLowe Lintas Group and WhiteHat Jr (acquired by Edtech giant Byju’s). 

Heather returned to the UK in 2022 and is now the Director of People & Culture at Britbox International, a BBC Studios owned global streaming platform.

Heather is a certified ICF Executive Coach and Chartered Fellow of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and an experienced Extended DISC trainer. She is also certified in NLP, and the Enneagram. Heather uses these tools, as well as her own extensive experience, to support transformative experiences for teams and individuals.
