James Browne

James Browne is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Economics and Public Finance team at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. His research focuses on labour markets and the public finances. His recent work has focused on the impact of AI on the labour market and productivity in the public sector. He has also produced research on tax and welfare reform, fiscal rules and policies to boost housing affordability and homeownership. Before joining TBI, James worked as an economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
