Matthew Baker

Matthew Baker is the Sr. VP of International Sales at Class.  He is an accomplished professional with over 23 years of experience in the EdTech (educational technology) field.One of the early team members of the international group at Blackboard. Matt held many roles in Blackboard during his 13 years of service including VP of Sales and Strategy.  He then joined the open source solution Moodlerooms as their SVP of Sales before joining the team at Instructure where he was the SVP of Education Strategy.  In addition Matt has worked with several other innovative EdTech startups,Matt has extensive industry knowledge in the global LMS space, pedagogical methodologies, and market trends and has consistently delivered solutions that help empower educators worldwide.  Matt speaks multiple languages and is fluent in Japanese.  He lives in Salt Lake City, UT and supports his talented wife and four children in his free time.
